  • $150,000 + super | Process and Systems Focus
  • 6-month contract | Immediate start
  • 5 days per week onsite | Rhodes area

About the Company
This national organisation is undergoing significant transformation. As part of this journey, the People Services function is continuing to enhance its systems and processes, and is now looking to bring in an additional team member in a contract role to support ongoing improvements and delivery of their HCM system.

About the Role
This 6-month contract role reports into the HR Systems Manager and will see you leading and supporting a team of three People services professionals, whom have a focus on BAU activities.

In addition to people leadership, your day-to-day will involve working on system and process enhancements to drive continuous improvement and ensure data integrity. You’ll also contribute to board reporting, testing, audits, migration work, data checking exercises, and more.

While the core systems are well established, they’re not without their flaws — so strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel, particularly with VLOOKUP and pivot tables, will be a key strength of yours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the People Connect team, fostering a culture of service and continuous improvement
  • Provide coaching, guidance and direction to a team of administrators, ensuring high-quality delivery and accountability
  • Run reporting and audits to check data accuracy across the HCM system (Oracle)
  • Act as a key point of escalation and problem-solving for complex or ambiguous matters
  • Support ongoing HCM enhancements and integrations to ensure improved workflows
  • Build trust and engagement across the business through effective communication, logic, and follow-through
About You
You’re a forward thinking and caring people leader who thrives in environments where process meets people. You will be a HR systems and operational guru, with an analytical mindset.

Ideally you will come from a shared services background, and have experience working in an environment with multiple EBA’s.
You will be comfortable leading through change and improvement of systems. You’re highly detail-oriented, naturally inquisitive, and comfortable taking initiative to drive better outcomes.

Oracle experience, although preferred, isn't a must have – but you do need to be a HR systems champion and love data, Excel, and solving problems before they escalate.

To be successful, you’ll have:
  • Proven experience in a shared services and HR operations/systems leadership role
  • Strong skills in Excel – including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables
  • A process mindset with the ability to identify gaps and recommend improvements
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experience working in an environment that have multiple EBA’s
  • A calm and caring personality, great leadership skills and ability to use your initiative
  • A passion to improve systems and data integrity
