The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to step into a broad, hands-on Recruitment Specialist role supporting both BAU hiring and a significant workforce uplift tied to a major upcoming event.

Working within a small and collaborative People & Culture team, you will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio, partnering closely with leaders to deliver timely, thoughtful, and high-quality hiring outcomes. This role offers variety, purpose, and the chance to contribute to something meaningful, while also helping improve processes in an evolving environment.

The Role
You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle across a mix of permanent, project-based, and volunteer hiring, with a strong focus on delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include:
  • End-to-end recruitment across BAU and project roles
  • Supporting high-volume hiring for the event
  • Stakeholder partnering, role scoping, and interview coordination
  • Managing compliance, offers, and onboarding documentation
  • Supporting broader lifecycle activities (onboarding, probation, offboarding)
  • Maintaining accurate data and reporting across manual systems
  • Contributing to process improvements over time

About You
You are a practical, hands-on recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You may be an early-career recruiter with around 3+ years’ experience who is smart, mature, and ready to step into a broader role, or someone more experienced who is genuinely motivated by purpose-led work. You bring strong end-to-end recruitment capability, can manage both high-volume and niche roles, and build effective relationships across a diverse stakeholder group. Highly organised with strong attention to detail, you are comfortable working in a manual environment with limited systems and bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. You take pride in delivering a positive candidate experience and are motivated by doing meaningful work where you can add real value.
