An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong Employee Relations expertise to join a large organisation undergoing significant transformation and workforce change initiatives.

This contract role will play a key part in supporting a critical employment and payroll remediation program following a recent business acquisition. Working closely with project leaders and senior stakeholders, you will help navigate complex employment matters, drive compliance outcomes, and support organisational change initiatives.

About the Opportunity A major remediation project is currently underway to review and strengthen employment and payroll practices within an acquired business.

Key areas of focus include:
  • Reviewing historical employment arrangements and payroll practices.
  • Supporting compliance and remediation activities.
  • Contributing to policy consultation and review processes.
  • Partnering with project teams to manage workforce and employee relations matters.
  • Supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives.
Considerable work has already been completed, including:
  • Comprehensive Modern Award mapping.
  • Establishment of a dedicated project management function.
  • Engagement of specialist data analysts to review historical employment records.
  • Assessment of remediation requirements and corrective action plans.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Extensive HR Business Partnering experience.
  • Strong Employee Relations knowledge and practical application.
  • Experience supporting complex projects and business transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated capability in policy development, consultation, and review.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • The ability to operate confidently in a changing and evolving environment.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, and workforce compliance obligations.
