About the Role

This is an opportunity to step into a highly influential role where you'll work alongside executive leaders to shape people strategy, lead enterprise-wide HR projects and ensure the successful delivery of key people initiatives across a complex and growing business.

You'll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business strategy into practical, executable people plans and programs while driving alignment across workforce planning, organisational design, talent, culture and transformation initiatives.

Reporting to an exceptional and down-to-earth Chief People Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in leading strategic HR projects, improving operating rhythm across the People function and ensuring initiatives are delivered in a coordinated, commercially focused way. If you enjoy operating at both a strategic and hands-on level, this role offers the opportunity to genuinely influence how HR creates value across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with senior leaders to provide commercially focused HR advice and strategic guidance
  • Translate business strategy into clear people roadmaps and workforce plans
  • Lead and deliver enterprise-wide HR projects and transformation initiatives
  • Drive workforce planning, succession planning, performance and talent review cycles
  • Partner on organisational design, capability uplift and change initiatives
  • Influence leaders to drive accountability, performance and high-performing teams
  • Improve alignment across multiple HR initiatives to reduce duplication and increase impact
  • Collaborate across specialist HR functions to ensure seamless delivery of people programs
  • Use workforce insights and data to inform strategic decision making
  • Support the ongoing evolution of a modern, high-performing People function
About You

You are an experienced HR professional who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
You'll bring:
  • 7+ years' experience in a senior HR Business Partner or strategic HR role
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR projects, transformation or organisational change initiatives
  • Strong experience partnering with senior executives and influencing business outcomes
  • Experience across workforce planning, organisational design and talent management
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to navigate complexity
  • Strong project management capability and the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Experience within financial services, insurance or other regulated industries will be highly regarded but is not essential
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions or business integration activities is advantageous
