With a focus on continuous improvement they are seeking to appoint an experienced People Operations and Workday specialist to join their team.

About the Role
Reporting into the Director, People Enablement, Technology & Governance, you will lead key HR operational, governance and technology initiatives, while providing direction to the People Services, People Technology & HRIS teams. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening governance frameworks, driving process improvements and ensuring HR systems and data are operating effectively.
Key areas of focus include:
  • HR Operations and Shared Services leadership
  • People governance, risk and compliance
  • Legislative and policy review and updates
  • Workday administration, optimisation and backlog management
  • Process analysis, governance and remediation
  • Data quality and hygiene improvements
  • Audit findings remediation and compliance activities
  • Continuous improvement across People processes and systems
This role will provide critical leadership and continuity while the Director is on leave and the successful permanent incumbent prepares to commence in late January.

About Success
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the Shared Services teams
  • Reduce and effectively manage the current Workday support backlog
  • Improve data integrity, governance and compliance outcomes
  • Deliver timely audit remediation activities
  • Strengthen HR policies, controls and process frameworks
  • Partner effectively with People, Technology, Risk, Audit and business stakeholders
  • Ensure the People function is well-positioned for a seamless transition to the permanent leader
About You
You are an experienced HR leader who thrives in complex environments and can quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders.
To be successful, you will bring:
  • Extensive experience in HR Operations, People Governance and/or HR Shared Services leadership
  • Strong 'Workday' systems knowledge and HRIS experience
  • Proven capability reviewing, redesigning and improving HR processes
  • Experience leading teams through operational challenges and change
  • Strong governance, risk and compliance expertise
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • The confidence to operate as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
  • Experience gained in a Professional Services environment and exposure to Workday AI/Copilot capabilities and emerging HR technologies, will be highly regarded.
