About the Company
For over 20 years, this business has been a major force in Australia’s resources sector. With more than 15,000 employees, it operates a large-scale mining and distribution network, producing a diverse range of commodities.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, with a dotted line into HR, this role is a critical part of the Site Leadership Team. As HR Manager, you’ll drive people strategies that align with operational goals while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.

You’ll lead a small HR team and work closely with operational leaders to deliver best-practice HR across the site. This is a hands-on role covering the full employee lifecycle, where your influence on culture, capability, and engagement will directly impact operational performance.

About You
You’re an experienced HR leader who thrives in dynamic, operational environments. You enjoy a role that gets involved in day to day operations, while also contributing to the plan and strategy for the future. You bring:

  • Broad HR expertise across performance, training, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Experience supporting blue-collar workforces, ideally in mining or heavy industry.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect across all levels of the workforce.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to operations, values building strong relationships, and wants to make a real impact on people and performance.

The business provides support and coaching and long term career opportunities, locally and abroad.
