About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Strategic People & Culture Business Partner to support one of the firm’s major business units at a senior leadership level.
This role is all about looking ahead, developing a multi‑year people plan, supporting leaders through transformation and helping the business make confident, long‑term decisions about its workforce.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Legal and other corporate areas. Day‑to‑day, this includes:
- Co‑developing and delivering a long‑term people plan aligned to business priorities
- Using workforce insights to guide decisions on capability, skills, location and future talent needs
- Working with Finance on budgets, productivity and people investment
- Supporting the business to adopt AI‑enabled ways of working and prepare for roles of the future
- Leading change and organisational effectiveness work across structure, capability and ways of working
- Partnering across Centres of Excellence to ensure people initiatives are aligned and well‑executed
- Coaching senior leaders on talent, succession, culture and workforce planning
About You
You are a seasoned People & Culture leader who thrives in complex, evolving environments. You bring:
- Experience leading strategic HR and multi‑year people initiatives
- Strength in workforce planning, succession, talent and leadership development
- Confidence using data, people analytics and AI‑enabled insights to drive decisions
- Strong commercial acumen and comfort partnering with Finance on workforce investment and business cases
- Proven ability to influence and coach senior leaders in complex matrix environments
- Experience partnering with Corporate Services teams (finance, tech, legal, operations, etc.)
- Curiosity and confidence engaging with AI‑driven workforce evolution
- A collaborative, low‑ego style, with strong relationship and stakeholder skills
NB This role can be based out of Sydney or Melbourne
