We’re seeking an experienced Workplace Relations Partner for a short-term assignment with a major national transport company. This 4–6 week role will support the business through a busy period of employee relations casework, including performance management, disciplinary action, workplace investigations, and general ER advisory support.
About the role
- Provide expert, timely advice on complex ER matters
- Lead or support workplace investigations into grievances, misconduct, and policy breaches
- Assist in the drafting of outcome letters, performance plans, and disciplinary documents
- Interpret enterprise agreements, policies and Fair Work obligations
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and employment law
- Solid experience in a Workplace Relations, ER, or Senior HR Advisor role
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and ER case management
- Skilled in conducting or supporting end-to-end investigations
- Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels
- Able to quickly integrate into a national HR function and manage competing priorities
- Transport, logistics or safety-critical environment experience is a bonus
