About Them
Our client is a global leader in the supply chain and logistics sector, operating a large national network that supports some of Australia's best known brands. With a collaborative HR team, modern Macquarie Park offices and flexible hybrid working, they are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join the business on a 13 month parental leave contract.

Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, you'll be the go to person for day to day employee relations matters, enterprise agreement interpretation and bargaining support. You'll lead the coordination and administration of bargaining activities while partnering with leaders across a range of workplace relations issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist looking for a broad role with plenty of ownership, autonomy and strong leadership support.

About the role
Supporting a blue collar workforce across multiple locations nationally, you'll partner closely with HR and operational leaders to provide practical and commercially focused employee relations advice.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting enterprise bargaining activities, including meeting preparation, minutes, correspondence and documentation
  • Interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements, Awards and industrial legislation
  • Preparing employee communications, voting materials and Fair Work documentation
  • Providing practical employee relations advice to leaders and stakeholders
  • Managing workplace grievances, conduct matters and lower risk investigations
  • Assisting with union related matters and stakeholder engagement
  • Supporting implementation of newly approved Enterprise Agreements
  • Conducting compliance reviews and BOOT assessments where required
  • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate ER records
  • Contributing to broader employee relations projects and initiatives
About you
You are an experienced Employee Relations professional who enjoys balancing technical expertise with practical stakeholder support.
You will bring:
  • Experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or generalist HR with a strong ER focus
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Agreements, Awards and the Fair Work framework
  • Experience interpreting industrial instruments and providing clear advice to stakeholders
  • Exposure to enterprise bargaining processes and documentation
  • Experience managing investigations, grievances or workplace conduct matters
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work autonomously
  • A pragmatic and solutions focused approach
Experience within logistics, manufacturing, transport, supply chain or other blue collar environments will be highly regarded.
