About them
Our client is a well known Australian organisation with a significant operational workforce across multiple sites nationally. They are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support a diverse client group across manufacturing, operations and corporate functions.
This is a genuinely broad role where you'll have ownership of your own remit, partnering directly with leaders and building strong relationships across the business. You'll be part of a collaborative HR team while having the autonomy to make an impact and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About the role
Reporting to an experienced HR leader, you'll support approximately 220 employees across operational and corporate environments, providing hands on HR support and advice across a wide range of people matters.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing coaching and guidance to leaders on performance, conduct and employee relations matters
  • Supporting disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Advising on Enterprise Agreement interpretation and HR policy application
  • Building trusted relationships with leaders across multiple sites
  • Supporting remuneration reviews and cyclical HR activities
  • Contributing to workforce planning, retention and capability initiatives
  • Delivering HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Driving engagement with site based teams and operational leaders
This role is based in North Ryde with regular travel to Chullora and occasional travel interstate and to regional sites.

About you
You'll be a confident and commercially minded HR professional who enjoys working closely with operational leaders and isn't afraid to have challenging conversations when required.
You'll bring:
  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor or similar generalist HR position
  • Exposure to employee relations and industrial relations environments
  • Confidence partnering with senior leaders and frontline managers
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and build credibility quickly
  • A proactive approach and genuine desire to improve people practices
  • Experience within operational, industrial, manufacturing, construction, logistics or similar environments will be highly regarded
