About the role

The HR Business Partner operates as an as part of small HR Team, working to implement significant change for the business.  The role is accountable for delivering effective people partnering and advisory support within assigned business areas. The role works within established People & Culture frameworks and in close collaboration with HR Advisors to ensure consistent, timely delivery of people support.

  • Provide timely, practical advice on moderate to complex employee relations matters, including performance management, conduct, and investigation
  • Support business units through organisational change by providing guidance on people impacts and implementation of change initiatives
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, and resource planning activities
  • Contribute to talent management, succession planning, and capability development initiatives
  • Providing support across broader HR initiatives as required
About you

You will be a capable, hands-on HR practitioner who can quickly understand a new environment and keep work moving. You will ideally bring:
  • Previous experience in an HR generalist/Business Partner role
  • A working knowledge of Australian employment legislation
  • Comfortable operating in an evolving environment where processes may not always be clearly defined
  • Able to use initiative and sound judgement while helping to build practical HR processes and documentation
  • Energised by the opportunity to contribute to a growing and increasingly mature people function
  • Internal working relationships include business unit leaders and employees, People and Culture team.
