About the Job
As People & Performance Business Partner, you will provide trusted HR advice and support to leaders across an assigned portfolio.
Working as an experienced individual contributor, you will balance day-to-day partnering and employee relations with broader people initiatives spanning workforce planning, organisational change, talent, capability and employee engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with leaders across the employee lifecycle, providing practical and timely HR advice.
- Managing employee relations matters including performance, conduct and investigations.
- Coaching leaders to build confidence and capability in people management.
- Supporting organisational change, workforce planning and organisational design initiatives.
- Contributing to talent, succession and capability development activities.
- Delivering cyclical HR activities including performance, remuneration and engagement programs.
- Supporting recruitment activity from role scoping and advertising through to screening, interviews and selection.
- Using people data and insights to identify trends and inform recommendations.
- Working closely with the broader People & Performance team and specialist functions to deliver consistent people solutions.
- Ensuring advice and practices align with employment legislation, enterprise agreements and organisational frameworks.
You will be an experienced HR generalist or Business Partner who enjoys being close to the business and providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice.
You will bring:
- Experience in a broad HR generalist or business partnering role.
- Confidence managing employee relations matters end-to-end.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practice.
- Strong stakeholder management and coaching capability.
- The ability to understand business priorities and translate them into practical people solutions.
- Exposure to areas such as organisational change, workforce planning, talent or organisational development.
- The ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and know when a matter requires escalation.
Importantly, you will be someone who builds credibility through the quality of your advice and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a broader People & Performance team.
