We’re partnering with our client to find an experienced HR Consultant to support their People Services function during a period of increased organisational demand and significant transformation.

With higher volumes of employee, manager and recruitment‑related enquiries flowing through a new case‑management process, this role will be critical in providing timely, accurate and strategic HR support. You’ll work closely with leaders to navigate change, manage people matters and maintain strong operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted HR consultant to leaders, providing advice on people matters, performance, policy and workforce planning
  • Manage and support employee relations issues including low‑level performance matters, conduct concerns, informal resolutions and investigations
  • Guide leaders through organisational change, new processes and evolving ways of working
  • Provide advice on recruitment strategy, workforce needs and hiring decisions
  • Support managers and candidates through recruitment workflows and onboarding processes
  • Assist employees and leaders with day‑to‑day HR queries, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely case resolution
  • Interpret modern awards, policies and employment legislation to support decision‑making
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement as new processes and operating rhythms are embedded
  • Contribute to people initiatives, engagement activities and continuous improvement across the People Services function
  
About You
  • Experience as an HR Consultant, HR Business Partner, HR Advisor or Senior HR Generalist
  • Strong capability in providing pragmatic, solutions‑focused HR advice to leaders
  • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters
  • Solid understanding of recruitment workflows, workforce planning and organisational needs
  • Comfortable working in a high‑volume, ticket‑based or case‑management environment
  • High attention to detail with a strong customer‑service mindset
  • Confident navigating change and supporting leaders through transformation
  • Knowledge of Australian legislation, Fair Work and modern awards
