Are you a payroll and remuneration specialist who enjoys looking beyond process and compliance to build scalable systems, governance frameworks and workforce solutions?

An exciting opportunity exists to join a rapidly growing, private equity-backed organisation undergoing significant business transformation. Following a series of acquisitions, the organisation is focused on integrating people, payroll and workforce management practices to support continued growth and operational excellence.

This newly created role offers a rare blend of payroll governance, remuneration oversight, systems implementation and business integration. It is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, driving continuous improvement and influencing how a growing organisation operates into the future.

About the Role
Reporting into a collaborative people leader, you will play a critical role in helping the business standardise and optimise payroll, remuneration and workforce management practices across multiple operating entities.

A key initial priority will be supporting the implementation and successful embedding of a new HRIS and payroll platform. Beyond the implementation phase, you will take a strategic view of payroll governance, remuneration processes, workforce data and systems integration, ensuring the organisation is well-positioned for future growth and acquisition activity.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation, adoption and optimisation of a new HRIS and payroll platform.
  • Establish and maintain payroll governance frameworks, controls and compliance processes.
  • Lead remuneration activities including annual salary reviews, incentive administration and remuneration reporting.
  • Drive process standardisation across multiple legacy operating environments.
  • Partner with HR, finance and business leaders to streamline workforce management practices.
  • Improve workforce reporting, systems integration and people data capability.
  • Develop scalable payroll and remuneration frameworks to support ongoing business growth.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic workforce and remuneration decisions.
About You
You are a commercially minded payroll, remuneration or HR systems professional who enjoys connecting people, processes and technology.

You will bring:
  • Strong experience across payroll, remuneration and governance.
  • Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems (Employment Hero experience highly regarded).
  • A systems-thinking approach and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience establishing frameworks, controls and scalable processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and change management capability.
  • Resilience, adaptability and comfort working within evolving environments.
  • Experience in transformation, integration, acquisition or high-growth organisations will be highly regarded.
