About them
Our client is a highly regarded professional services organisation operating across Australia and New Zealand. Following a sustained period of growth, the business has expanded significantly in recent years, increasing its workforce to circa 1000 employees nationally. As the organisation continues to evolve, there is a strong focus on building capability, strengthening people practices and creating scalable frameworks that support a high-performing and connected workforce.

Growth in Perth, combined with continued investment in local support functions and shared services capability, has created the need for a dedicated People Partner to support the Western Australian business. With the Perth office approaching 100 employees and continuing to expand, this newly created role represents an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative People & Culture team during a significant period of growth.

About the Role
As the People Partner, you will join a highly collaborative national People & Culture team while acting as the dedicated HR presence for the Perth office. Supporting a workforce of approximately 80-100 employees, you'll partner closely with senior leaders across a diverse portfolio, delivering both strategic and operational people support.
This role offers a unique blend of autonomy and support. As the only Perth-based HR rep, you'll be a trusted advisor to leaders and employees locally, while remaining connected to an experienced team of People Partners and broader HR specialists nationally.
Approximately 70% of the role is focused on business partnering activities, with the remaining 30% dedicated to contributing to broader people initiatives and projects across the organisation. This could include areas such as organisational change, employee experience, leadership development, workforce planning and future business growth initiatives.

About You
We're looking for a HR Business Partner or emerging People Partner who enjoys building strong relationships with leaders and wants to continue developing their partnering capability within a highly regarded professional services environment. You'll bring broad generalist HR experience, solid exposure to employee relations and performance matters, and the confidence to work with stakeholders across a diverse portfolio. Curious, collaborative and commercially minded, you'll enjoy balancing day-to-day people support with opportunities to contribute to broader projects and initiatives. Most importantly, you'll be someone who is keen to learn, values being part of a supportive team and is looking to build their career within a growing organisation known for developing its people.
