A leading Victorian organisation is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join its People & Culture team on an immediate‑start 3‑month contract. This role offers strong potential for ongoing work or permanency and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major workforce program within a complex, highly regulated environment.

About the Role
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic and operational HR support across a diverse portfolio. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders to deliver contemporary HR advice, support organisational change and drive initiatives that strengthen capability, culture and performance. This role suits a confident HR professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments, enjoys influencing stakeholders and is comfortable navigating complex employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HR advice across workforce planning, performance, capability and organisational development
  • Partner with leaders to support change initiatives, restructures and workforce transitions
  • Manage complex employee relations matters within an EBA/governed environment
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and talent initiatives across assigned portfolios
  • Lead and contribute to People & Culture projects aligned to organisational priorities
  • Coach leaders to build capability and embed contemporary HR practice
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, policies and industrial instruments
About You
  • Extensive experience as a Senior HR Business Partner or equivalent
  • Strong capability in employee relations, coaching and stakeholder management
  • Experience in health, government or other highly regulated/EBA environments
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and influence outcomes
  • Collaborative, proactive and solutions‑focused approach
  • Confident working with senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams
